An exclusive kick-off celebration for AWCIM alumni, associates, and current students on March 11, 2026.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind gathering filled with big ideas, bold stories, and joyful reconnections. Hosted by the University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine (AWCIM), Alumni & Associates Day kicks off our 2026 Integrative Medicine Conference with an afternoon of engaging talks and an evening of community celebration.

This event is open exclusively to AWCIM alumni, students, associates—and their invited colleagues. Space is limited, so add it to your conference registration early!

• Date: Wednesday, March 11, 2026
• Cost: $50 (add-on to your IMC conference registration) Includes all talks, reception entry, food, drinks, and activities.
• Agenda:
  o Lightning Lectures: 2:00–5:00 PM
  o Alumni & Associates Celebration Reception: 5:30–8:00 PM

We’re kicking things off with an energizing keynote by Dr. Andrew Weil and Dr. Stephen Dahmer, followed by our signature Alumni Lightning Lectures—short, powerful talks from AWCIM alumni making waves in integrative medicine.

Think TED Talks, but with heart, science, and real-world impact. Hear how alumni are:

• Transforming patient care with integrative tools
• Leading research and community health initiatives
• Advancing sustainable, evidence-based healthcare

Each 10-minute talk is packed with inspiration, innovation, and practical takeaways.

5:30 PM – 8:00 PM Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine

After the lectures, the celebration continues at the AWCIM complex! Enjoy an unforgettable evening featuring:

Call for Lightning Lecture Speakers

Want to take the stage? We’re looking for alumni speakers ready to inspire. Share a clinical insight, success story, research highlight, or personal journey in a 10-minute Lightning Lecture.

All alumni are welcome to apply—we’ll select a diverse range of voices that reflect the best of our community.

Lecture Focus Areas

• Clinical & Practical Applications
  Real-world clinical insights, hands-on techniques, or tools to improve patient care.
• Research & Innovation
  Original studies, innovations in practice or education, or emerging science in integrative medicine.
• Wildcard & Healing Stories
  Exploratory and human-centered topics personal stories

Speaker Compesation

Selected speakers will receive a $500 honorarium for the participation and one (1) complimentary ticket to a future AWCIM hosted conference.

The lectures will be professionaly recorded and shared with lecturers post-event.
