- Educational Innovation
- Clinical Innovation
- Wellness Programming
- Culinary Medicine / Food as Medicine
- Lifestyle Medicine
- Integrative Medicine for Special Populations
Who Is Eligible?
Conference attendees interested in presenting are encouraged to submit a proposal in collaboration with a medical student or resident. We especially welcome interdisciplinary projects and presentations that demonstrate creativity, collaboration, and meaningful impact on education, patient care, wellness, and community health.
We look forward to learning from your experiences and celebrating the innovative work taking place across the Integrative Medicine community.
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSTER PRESENTATION
The purpose of your poster presentation is to provide an opportunity for colleagues in Integrative Medicine to learn about the work of rising leaders in Academic Integrative Medicine. Residents and medical students will have the opportunity to present alone or in concert with faculty mentors during a poster session, which creates a time-efficient way to present the main elements of your program or study at the AWCIM Integrative Medicine Conference (IMC). Your colleagues may want to apply your work in their own settings, therefore, your poster should address the evaluation of your project, program, or research, and we encourage you to have handouts and/or business cards available to enhance the networking opportunity.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FOR IMC:
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine Leadership.
The abstract will be submitted via Qualtrics by October 31, 2026.
The Abstract Submission should include:
- Title of Poster
- Lead Presenter, with institution/organization
- Other Presenters, with institution/organization
- 200-word abstract about poster/presentation
- Submissions should be free of commercial bias and not include promotional materials.
- If your abstract is accepted, someone from your group will be required to register for the conference and attend in person to present your poster.
DISPLAY FORMAT
Each poster should be prepared on heavyweight paper or lightweight cardstock, so they are easy to mount to the presentation board. These posters will be printed by the participants at their home institution to bring to the IMC conference. We recommend they are created as PDF format and are no larger than 10MB. Landscape Orientation is required. Dimensions of the posters must not exceed 60” x 36”. You must also provide a PDF of the poster to Event Organizers to be included in the official app for the conference.
For convenience, you may choose to have your poster printed locally.
PDF files of the posters are due no later than February 11, 2027.
